Akaroa harbor; A french colony settled in late 1800's now mostly a tourist destination on Banks Pennisula
Penguins, Paua and Fur Seals just over the hill from Akaroa on Banks Pennisula
Collected a Paua (black abalone) in Stony Bay to show family. Was shadowed by seals underwater. Paua was returned, but they are eaten usually in patties like burgers.
